Rituxan is a drug developed by Genentech, one of the largest biotech companies out there. I designed the site to feel expansive with the content still fitting into smaller screens, as well as being more iPhone friendly. A lot of UI/UX went into this, including admin pages for the CMS powering the site. Created under Trigger. ![]() |
{ art direction + design } Disneystore redesign pitch / URL not available This comp was created for a pitch to redesign the current Disneystore site. Though we didn't get the project, I'm very happy with my comp. Created under Trigger. ![]() |
{ art direction + design } 2012 iPhone app + http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=324210581&mt=8The first iPhone interface I designed, for the 2012 iPhone game. Currently rated #1 trivia game on the free apps list! Created under Trigger. ![]() |
This was the third teaser I created for the 2012 campaign. It featured a slick, interactive Mayan calendar that let you unlock three very cool disaster animations. Concepted and created in only 2 weeks due to an incredible team effort. These comps feature a slightly different version than the one that is currently live. Created under Trigger. ![]() |
{ motion graphics + art direction + design + development + animation } Fame + http://www.awfulmess.com/fame/intro_final.movThe official site for the Fame remake was an interesting undertaking as I took it upon myself to create the intro, perhaps my most personally satisfying motion graphic piece to date. I designed the rest of the site to have a clean aesthetic, yet give a nod to the pseudo-mosaic logo featured on the front page, where visitors could have their profiles featured. Link goes to a smaller copy of the site intro. Created under Trigger. ![]() |
The teaser for Angels and Demons was simple but beautiful, featuring a two faced statue that would turn from side to side as you explored the teaser concept. Created under Trigger. ![]() |
Disney wanted an expansive and fun site showcasing their soon to be launched (at the time) XD cable channel, geared toward the young boys demographic. This project was a gigantic undertaking. I did art direction, design, and information architecture under an agile development (SCRUM) schedule, and a bit of exposure to a Sharepoint server enviroment. I also got to experience some interesting focus group sessions. The site features tons of games, 3D avatars, and collectibles. Developed under Trigger. ![]() |
{ illustration } Disney XD trophies / URL not available Along with designing the XD site, I created trophies for the avatar achievements. Developed under Trigger. ![]() |
I developed the official Death Race movie site in AS2 using the Gaia Flash framework, TweenMax for animation, and SWFAddress for deeplinking. One main feature of the site includes an animation script I wrote for a great masking effect. I also developed the experience portion of the site, which features some nice psuedo 3D transitions. The site also includes flash tracking code coupled with SEO script integrations in the HTML. Developed under Trigger. ![]() |
{ development + design + animation } My Boys Facebook App - M.A.S.H. + http://apps.facebook.com/myboysmash/I developed (in Flash AS2) and designed this fun Flash based Facebook app that plays on the timeless schoolyard game M.A.S.H., for the TBS TV show 'My Boys'. Working with a PHP developer, we successfully were able to pull in specific Facebook data such as friends' names, images, and the profile's city, and post game results to the profile's bulletin. Developed for Jetset Studios. ![]() |
The Ruins is an Dreamworks/Spyglass horror movie. Watson D/G came to me to be the lead developer for the official movie site and contribute some ideas to lend to the creepy atmosphere of the site. A great immersive site with little things to discover. ![]() |
The Global Tuning Awards is an annual event honoring top car tuners from around the world. Features XML driven content and completely actionscripted motion. ![]() |
Mixi-Bang is a toy and lifestyle store in Pasadena. The client wanted a mix of cute and aggressive, a nod to their moniker, and they told me I hit it on the head with the first design. I also did all the coding, using a mix of PHP, Javscript, and CSS. A simple site that features a Flash image gallery using the Slide Show Pro component, and Google Maps integration. ![]() |
Mobius is another toy store in K-Town that wanted a site similar to Mixi-Bang - simple and clean. I also did an X-Cart installation and setup as well as Wordpress integration. ![]() |
{ art direction + design + development + animation } Max Steel / URL not available Max Steel is a Mattel brand so popular in Mexico and Brazil, that is it synonymous with 'action figure'. As the Creative Director for the near half-million account, I contributed and oversaw the majority of the user interface design for the main and exploratory sites, a desktop RIA, and a next gen desktop 3D video game. Created under Curious Oranj. ![]() |
Tama Town is the online playground for the popular Tamagotchi toy. This was one of the first examples of true site to product integration, with exchanged codes adding items and extra functionality on both the toy and site. As Creative Director, leading my internal team and an outside developer, we launched the ground breaking site in record time. Created under Curious Oranj. ![]() |

Created under UCLA Center for Digital Humanities. ![]() |
Hypermedia Berlin is a Flash based learning tool being used as a replacement for the textbook in a class at UCLA. Using various maps, it simultaneously presents Berlin in a cultural, temporal, and topographical context. I designed it as well as coded it. It is based on a Flash component called Zoomify, which I had to hack to build in a lot of new functionality. The project has been awarded a grant. Created under UCLA Center for Digital Humanities. ![]() |
